Who Wants A Custom Ringtone?

I'm pretty good at doing them. Why settle for what's on the Verizon store? Tell ol' Indy what you want (I'm willing to break it down to a specific time interval on an audio clip), and I'll get cracking on it!

I'm not so good with remixes on songs yet, but I've been practicing clipping songs and rearranging them for a different effect. I just don't have the software to do a good custom mix on anything. Yet.

So anyway, if there's anything you guys want in that regard, let me know!

My current ringtone is Passacaglia from the BSG soundtrack and I LOOOOVE it! It's so calming, lol. When I'm ready for a change though, I'll come to you!

Haha! That's really cool. I need to around to re-customizing my phone, period. It died and since I got the replacement, everything on it is still default. :-/

I do want to look into getting the Star Trek whistle for my text message tone.

I know of many applications that can send ringtones through text messages. I've ripped the boatswain whistle and turned it into an MP3. If you want, I can send it your way.

Or we could try that Dropbox thingamajig.

Indeed. It's only 78.5 KB, so unless I'm e-mailing it to 1997, we should be okay.

Haha! It's funny because I've been on the interwebs so long, some of my understanding of what's out there is antiquated. For instance, it took me forever to get used to a Hard Drive that was larger than 15 GB.

First victim claimed! I was in the grocery store yesterday and my new ringtone went off a couple times while in checkout. The poor cashier was looking around each time like someone had blown a dog whistle she could hear. (buahaha!)

We ended up chatting about how her ringtone is the JAWS theme. Good conversation starter.
